Reuse of ex_Tobacco storage to residential complex.

An industrial landmark is reimagined as contemporary living. This former tobacco storage building is transformed into a residential complex of 140 units, preserving the character of its robust shell while introducing a new layer of comfort, daylight, and greenery.

The design respects the building’s original identity—its scale, rhythm, and material honesty—while upgrading it to today’s standards of energy performance and everyday functionality. New openings, balconies and semi-open spaces extend the apartments outward, allowing light and ventilation to shape the experience of each home. Shared circulation and communal areas are reorganized to support a clear, welcoming residential environment.

This project celebrates adaptive reuse: turning an existing structure into a vibrant neighborhood within a single building—where industrial heritage meets a calm, contemporary way of living.
